AddisonMckee, currently headquartered in Wilmington, Ohio, and with operations internationally, will move to a new Kiesland-built facility by end of summer. The 78,000-square-foot building, including 18,000 square feet of office space, is located in Lebanon’s Kingsview Business Park.
This growing manufacturer of metal tube-bending and end-forming machines reached its expansion capacity at its current Wilmington location. An attractive tax-increment financing agreement between the company and the City of Lebanon was an incentive in the relocation to Lebanon.
The facility, built and designed by Kiesland and KBA Architects, is the first phase of the project, with plans to include another 85,000 square feet for future expansion. “Kiesland had some unique challenges with this project – adapting AddisonMckee’s proposed facility to our site and creating a design/build solution to meet their budget and future needs. The facility was built through the winter in roughly five months,” points out Rich Hughes, Kiesland President.
AddisonMckee systems are used in industries such as automotive, shipbuilding, aerospace, furniture, sporting goods and hospital equipment.
By end of summer, Kiesland will transform Lebanon land into headquarters for international manufacturer AddisonMckee. Pictured at the groundbreaking: Bill Schalk, project Architect, KBA Architects; Joe Eramo, President of AddisonMckee and Rich Hughes, President of Kiesland. |
