News Title Kiesland Builds a Better Community

For the fourth year, Kiesland sponsored the Arthritis Walk®, the lead fundraising event of the Ohio River Valley chapter of the Arthritis Foundation. Kiesland’s sponsorship contribution underwrote the parking expense for the nearly 1500 walkers at the 2006 event, held Sunday, May 21, at Cincinnati’s Sawyer Point. More than $115,000 raised at the walk will support Arthritis Foundation research, public health and public policy efforts to improve the lives of people with arthritis.  “Every day, we design, build and construct facilities to enhance the productivity of businesses,” says Kiesland President Rich Hughes.  “But it is equally important for us to help build the community and enhance the vital efforts of organizations like the Arthritis Foundation.”
