Downtown Cincinnati Boutique Hotel Relaunches Under New Name and Ownership
A boutique hotel property at 333 East 8th Street in Downtown Cincinnati has been acquired by commercial real estate developer and design-builder Richard Hughes of Kiesland Development Services. Kiesland’s design-build team renovated the 12,480 SF short-term rental complex in November 2023. Hughes has rebranded the property as The 333 Suites.
Originally built in 1913, the mixed-use building at the corner of Broadway and 8th streets was transformed into a short-term rental hotel in early 2024. The $2 million renovation included creating eight fully furnished units ranging from studios to 2-bed suites. Guests at The 333 Suites will enjoy suites with fully equipped kitchens, including stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer and dryer, and abundant natural light.
The hotel celebrates Cincinnati’s musical roots with décor and artwork, including framed LP album covers and a music-themed pig statue in its lobby. This passion for music is also represented in the guest experience, with each suite featuring built-in, customizable surround sound – designed to enrich each guest’s stay.
