The processing system is unique in the USA providing Quantum with expanded capacity and increased efficiencies. The building addition features heavy duty floors, 40’ interior clear height and 96’ clear span structure which enables flexibility and efficient flow of materials via conveyors. Roof system is Butler®MR-24® standing seam. In addition to the high bay LED lighting system the building benefits from extensive daylight harvesting utilizing the SunLite Strip® roof skylights with light sensors controlling the building lighting.
When asked to comment on this project and reflect on the long-term relationship with Kiesland, Cheryl Kolb co- founder of Quantum Metals, stated “… I am very selective in the vendors I choose to service my company. The fact that we made the choice time after time over an 18 year period, speaks for itself in the confidence of quality and comfort knowing that I have a team looking out for my best interest.”
